Join us for our first ever in person Advice First Aid (AFA) Community of Practice!
Hear from 3 local offices about the strategic priority that AFA supports, the marginalised groups they are reaching out to, and the local support organisations they’re working with to reach them.
The speakers at the session are:
Jeremy Sandell, Chief Executive at CA Wandsworth, who have been leading the use of AFA for over a decade
Victoria Latchford, Head of Service at CA Reading, who have recently secured funding and are setting up their AFA service
Ivan Jackson, Training Officer at CA North Somerset, who are delivering AFA sessions throughout their rural, coastal area
We also want to hear your ideas about how we can measure the impact of Advice First Aid on people who don’t need a referral into a local office. We’ll set the challenge at the start of the session, gather your thoughts and suggestions, and put the most feasible ideas to the test in the months ahead.
You can join the AFA community of practice to hear about future sessions, or if you have any questions about this session, you can email the team core-servicedevelopment@citizensadvice.org.uk.
